reusable tubings 9 mm For
the smallest patients with their special needs there are special tubing systems and additional accessories available now.
These
tubings are significantly smaller and lighter than our standard tubings with
minimized compressible volume. This is advantageous e.g. when using high
frequency oscillations and small tidal volumes for optimizing efficiency. As
well the tractive forces at the patient connection are further
reduced.
The established concept of integrated temperature probes has been maintained for reducing handling and potential error sources. Inspiratory
and expiratory tubing are regulated and controlled separately concerning gas
temperature.
Reprocessing
is simply possible in washing machines for respiratory equipment or steam
autoclaves (up to 134 °C ) without dismounting of any
components.
A well known problem in conventional humidification technologies is the usage in combination with incubators or warming beds.

The different climate zones outside and inside the incubator/warming bed often lead to condensate formation within the tubings.
The
new HumiCare® 200 tubing systems for incubators allow for an optimal
condensate prevention highly independent of incubator and ambient climate as
well as independent of respirator setting. This is valid for inspiratory and
expiratory tubings so there should be no more need for water
traps.
Also
in neonatal therapy most ventilators and respiratory assist machinery is simply
to combine with the HumiCare® 200.
For
applications with a higher pressure inside the humidification chamber (e.g. some
types of nCPAP systems) special solutions are available for optimizing the
automatic water refill process. This sometimes seems to be a problem in the
field with conventional humidification solutions.
By
using the new products mentioned above the HumiCare® 200 is even
easier and better to use for all kinds of artificial respiration and respiratory
therapy. We are looking forward to assisting you in evaluating
HumiCare® 200. |
